Just got  back from 2 weeks in Hawaii.  Maui, Lanaii, and Oahu. One of my favorite spots on the planet.  I took lots of reference shots, and some of these will definitely creep into some future illustrations.

I just got this book, and it is SO fantastic. You know how sometimes information delivered in a slightly different way will just somehow “click” better?
